License agreement with Visualise Bio

On october 1st Utrecht Holdings and Visualize.bio celebrated the signing of the license agreement in order to commercialize the GelMap technology.

Developed in the lab of prof. dr. Lukas Kapitein, the GelMap technology enables the first quality control standard in Expansion Microscopy. This holds great promise in pathology and diagnostics, as expansion microscopy constitutes a 10x resolution improvement over the standard light microscopy method, confocal microscopy. We congratulate the Visualise.bio team consisting of Lukas Kapitein, Hugo Damstra, Josiah Passmore and wish them all the best going forward under the leadership of Floris van der Staaij.

Together, the teams of Utrecht Holdings and Visualise Bio celebrated the licensing agreement.
