Grants and subsidies are available for research projects and entrepreneurs to enhance valorization potential. We guide you to the right funding opportunity, being TAKE OFF or pre-seed funding from UHSF.

 

From Horizon programs to EIC pathfinders and -accelerators, they aim to enhance the technology readiness level of your invention in research phase or in start-up phase. At Utrecht Holdings, we also offer innovation vouchers for furtherance of your research project and present our own pre-seed fund UHSF. Research funding

Both Utrecht University and UMC Utrecht have their own research support offices (RSO). The RSO has extensive experience with the different funding schemes and can offer specialized support for researchers to maximize their chances of success.

Upon data generation in a project in which the UU/UMCU owns a commercial stake in the generated data, Utrecht Holdings becomes involved to determine impact strategies.

Pitch deck

A pitch deck is a presentation created to raise venture capital for your business. To gain buy-in and drum up financial support from potential investors, these presentations outline everything from why your business exists, to your business model, progress or milestones, your team, and a call-to-action.

Your Business developer will work with you to create the best pitch deck to be presented for start up funding.

 

Startup funding

Utrecht Health Seed Fund is our pre-seed fund to invests in promising early-stage companies (TRL 2-7) in Life Sciences and Health. Our initial ticket size is max 250K, and we always invest together with other well-established funds to give your company the best start. We have strong relations with the Regional development agency (ROM) and venture capitalists in the Netherlands and internationally.

These network covers a range of investors in Life Science, AI and Sustainability. We also work with national technology transfer themes initiatives that have a specific liaison to investors, like Innovation Industries, Lumo Labs and Shift Invest (please be referred to Ecosystem tab).
