Orgonex is developing propietary bioreactor technology which holds great promise in the field of organoid culture for regenerative medicine purposes. Built on UU generated and owned IP the Orgonex team was supported by Utrecht Holdings by Bas Nagelkerken (IP), Nicole Weerts (Legal) and Tjeerd van Dijk (BD) with their first entrepeneurial steps as an academic.

UU researchers, UH champions and co-founders Bart Spee and Kerstin Schneeberger accompanied by our director knowledge transfer Tessa Scharringhausen signed the commercial license the old fashioned way in blue ink.
